Quick Little Funny

SO Joseph is such a sweet kid but he doesn't think too well sometimes.  He came to me and asked if I could record him playing his guitar so that he could post it on Facebook.  He said that he has a friend that played a song on his guitar and posted it.  Bless his heart.....this would be an alright idea if Joseph could actually play the guitar and if he actually had a guitar.  He has a guitar that looks like a soccer ball and it only has 2 strings left on it.  I had to explain to him that it wasn't a good idea because he would very likely get made fun of.  After explaining it to him he then thought it was funny and we (of course) had to take some pictures.  Unfortunately for Joseph, Chloe (supersonic ears) overheard the discussion so she had to get in on the fun!

I did tell him though that if he WANTED to learn to play the guitar we could maybe for a birthday or Christmas get an actual REAL guitar and take some lessons to learn to play.

Beautiful Busy Weekend

Chloe chasng after the ball.  She has gotten so much more agressive over the past couple of years.  I think she scored going for this ball!

They play 5 girls and a goalie.  Chloe plays in the center.

Joseph plays keeper...just like his Dad!

At some point he usually asks to play forward...he really likes to score.

All my boys watching Chloe play.....well I think Ethan may be watching something else!
What a beautiful weekend it was!  We spent pretty much the whole weekend outside.  The kids all played their first soccer games of the season.  Last weekend was actually the official start to the season but, you know spring, it was raining.  I got to see everyone play except for Ethan.  I was slightly sad about that but there will be plenty of games of his to see.  That's what happens when you have 3 kids playing on the same day....at some point there is a conflict in scheduling.

Sunday was beautiful as well.  We decided that it was time to get the yard cleaned up before Grandma and Poppy come for their visit next week.  Unfortunately, I am not much help as I am on medical leave for a back injury.  I was confined to sitting in one place and picking at the weeds.  I will have to say that Joseph worked really hard at weeding the front flower bed.  Afterwards we went for lunch at Milanos and I took the kids to the park.  They had so much fun just being kids!  Of course I took LOTS of pictures while they were playing.

My little monkey!

Joseph helping Ethan down the pole.  He only needed help once then he was down the pole like lightening!

Not really sure what to say other than she was having fun!
